And we are just in love with their branding!
Australian brand Bennies is showing us that great branding starts with great location. Located in Benion Beach, Perth, Australia (they do move quite often, though Benion Beach is somewhere you can find them often), Bennies is a local food truck serving acai bowls, brews and bites on the beachside. What caught our attention is their branding, the food truck, and how their location is such a big part of their brand and how they pay respect to it.
What do I mean by that?
More often than not, people get a cheap camera or take really crappy photos on their phone for their café, restaurant or food truck. Great photography isn't an investment, it's a necessity for a growing business. You can create the best branding in the world and still fall short of getting people to really feel the brand on the screen when your photos look terrible.
And their branding!
Oh god, I think it's important that people start stepping outside their comfort zones and trying colour combinations that aren't ordinary. It's hard to stand out in the F&B market, but with some really cool colours, that job becomes slightly, very slightly, easier. The way the orange and blue play together is wonderful. It evokes this feeling of a beachside getaway: the blues of the sky and sea and the orange of a sunset. Whether that was the intended meaning we may never know, but one thing is for sure: it definitely feels that way.
